TOPIC: School Accident

School Accident 8 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
As a parent I am very much concern about the safety of my child at school. Is there a certain insurance or something like a reserved fund for school accidents encountered by the students? What are the necessary school measures to claim such?

I think it will be investigated first before you can be able to claim it from the school. The school should be very careful especially in designing the facilities and playground to avoid accidents. If it is really proven as a negligence from the school then it would be proper to charge it to them.

The above is all true.

It is important I think to bear in mind that schools are designed to be very safe places because they want themselves completely covered. So the chance of accidents and the like are very small.

I think this is a rare incident. If this something that should really be considered, I'm sure that both the child and the school have something to say about it.

You ought to check out that link. It is awesome. Children of the schools of Lothian have been compensated for accidents ranging from torn trousers to playground injuries. The local councils have paid out 125,000 in pounds; so, I guess claims can be made.

American schools must carry coverage that cover students and staff. Whether they slip and get hurt or are injured in sports , you can place a claim and the school will pay for it if yur insurance will not. The one point is in a sports related accident the school will send you to their doctor before the student can be cleared for competition or practice. All this is so that insurance premiums will go down

i think school is a place where the children should be safe and in order to prevent fire you can use fire extinguiisher in each class. firstly avoid the things which lead to fire

This is something that every parent should consider in deciding where to enroll their children. Parents can try asking other parents' opinion or actual experience with the school that their children is studying.

There are some schools that give insurance for the children. We have it in our school. It was good for the students, because for whatever would happen you can claim your insurance. However, I'm not sure if there is a company for this, except that in school. Do you think there is?
